Welcome to our school’s exceptional lunch catering service! At St Columba’s College, we prioritise the well-being and dietary needs of our students, and that’s why we’ve partnered with Chartwells Independent, a renowned provider of catering and support services to schools in the UK.

Chartwells’ talented chefs collaborate closely with us to deliver nutritionally balanced meals that perfectly cater to our students’ requirements and dietary preferences. Whether your child is vegetarian, gluten-free, or has other specific dietary needs, our lunch service ensures they receive delicious and wholesome meals throughout the week.

In addition to our regular lunch service, we also offer breakfast and breaktime options for our Senior School students. Start your day off right with our breakfast service, available from 07.45 am to 8:20 am daily. We serve a delectable selection of hot items, sweet pastries, pancakes, cereals, smoothies, tea, coffee, fresh fruits, and refreshing cold drinks.

During breaktime, which runs from 11:00 am to 11:20 am, our students can indulge in a variety of appetizing options. Choose from hot items, sandwiches, baguettes, sweet treats, drinks, fruits, and yogurt to keep you fueled and satisfied throughout the day.

To ensure transparency and convenience, we display price lists in the Dining Room, allowing you to plan accordingly.

For our Sixth Form students, we have a dedicated cafe located in the Sixth Form building. From 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, you can enjoy a delightful range of offerings, including coffee, teas, hot chocolate, cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes, and an assortment of sweet and savory items. It’s the perfect spot to relax and refuel between classes.

The safety of our students with allergies is of utmost importance to us. That’s why we collaborate closely with Chartwells, parents, and our school nurses to maintain a secure environment for all. We take all necessary precautions to ensure that students with allergies can enjoy their meals without worry.

Prices

Lower Prep School lunches: £3.85 per day
Upper Prep School lunches: £4.95 per day
Senior School lunches: £5.15 per day

Costs per term, as well as other payment options, will be posted on Schools Gateway

Meals are provided by a cashless system. Credit is placed on a student’s account through School Gateway and payment for meals is made using a biometric system.
