Welcome from the Headmaster
When students move on from St Columba’s College, the ultimate aim is for them to leave people and places better than they find them.
The world needs leaders with virtues such as courage, courtesy and compassion, who can connect with people and who are able to respond wisely to the many complex challenges we face in an ever-changing society.
Our students are academically successful, intellectually curious and crucially, they are happy and empathetic.
To this end, St Columba’s College provides a formation of ‘head’ and ‘heart’ for students from ages 4 to 18.
In January 2021, St Columba’s was delighted to move to co-education when we welcomed girls into the Lower Prep (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2), and the Lower Sixth Form. In September 2022, girls were welcomed into Form 1/Year 7. This will be followed by a phased transition, which will eventually see St Columba’s offering its unique, high-quality Catholic education to both boys and girls from ages 4 – 18.
We hope that you share our vision of education and warmly invite you to visit the Prep School, Senior School or the Sixth Form to meet our staff and students and to experience our community first-hand.
