We are excited to announce a new dance class that I have launched which runs on a Friday evening at St Columba’s College. It is open to both students and non-students at the college and suits from year 7 (Form 1 upwards).

This class supports students wishing to develop their technical ability, confidence and creative practice. It is particularly beneficial for those undertaking GCSE or sixth form dance/performance-related qualifications, but also as a standalone class for those who love to dance!

Each session includes a contemporary-style warm-up and technique work following the Rambert Grades syllabus, Pilates for Dancers exercises to support strength and alignment and injury prevention, and a creative element to develop performance and choreography skills.

The class takes place in the prep hall between 5.30-7pm.

Dates running up until Easter are:
27th February
6th March
13th March
20th March

Fees:
£20 per class (drop-in)
£72 for all four sessions

Booking is available here: https://www.themovementteacher.com/freelance-dance-teaching

Alternatively, please contact me on 07969192113 for further information.

Students may choose to work towards exams within this syllabus, and grades 6 and above contribute towards UCAS points.
