Welcome to the Senior School

Welcome to St Columba’s Senior School

You probably want to know what makes our Senior School typically Columban?

  • A recognition that every child is unique and will follow their own path?
  • That a Columban is far more than a set of excellent examination results?
  • That our curriculum recognises and celebrates intellectually curious young people with a thirst for learning?
  • That our pastoral care is built upon personal attention so that every young person is known, valued and treasured?

The answer to all of these is a resounding “Yes”. However, there’s more…

A Columban curriculum reflects the belief in holistic education which is why our Head of Careers and Head of Vocational Learning sit alongside the Heads of all other Departments, to ensure that all students succeed and go on to study at the top Universities or engage in the highest Degree and Industry Apprenticeships, and that all Columbans leave us as compassionate and resilient individuals, capable of thriving in an ever-changing world.
