The Columban Fayre once again proved the power of community, generosity and festive spirit, raising an outstanding £26,000 this year.
The much-loved annual event brought together pupils, parents, staff, alumni and friends of St Columba’s College for a day filled with joy, laughter and purpose. From bustling stalls and festive games to delicious food, raffles and the ever-popular Secret Santa stall, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Funds raised will support a range of important causes, including CAFOD, Play Skill, and the Hospice of St Francis, as well as helping to support developmental projects within St Columba’s College. This balance of local, national and global impact reflects the values at the heart of the Columban community.
What makes the Columban Fayre so special is not only the scale of the event, but the heart behind it. The remarkable total raised is a testament to the generosity of our community and the dedication of the many volunteers and our budding entrepreneurial pupils who gave their time to make the Fayre such a success.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the Fayre - whether by organising, volunteering, donating prizes, running stalls or simply coming along to enjoy the day.
