Wrap Around Care at St Columba’s College Prep
At St Columba’s College Prep, we understand that modern family life requires flexibility, and we are committed to supporting parents with a Wrap Around Care programme that is both reliable and enriching. Our provision offers high‑quality supervision, engaging activities and a nurturing environment that extends beyond the normal school day, giving families the reassurance they need and children a place where they can continue to thrive.
Breakfast Club – from 7.30am
Our Breakfast Club provides a warm and welcoming start to the day. Children are greeted by our excellent TA team and enjoy a light breakfast of toast and cereal. Afterwards, they can play and socialise before being taken to their classrooms ready for the day ahead.
Early Morning Care – from 8.00am
Alternatively, families can make use of our Early Morning Care in the Prep Studio. This is a gentle, supervised play session where children can relax and catch up with friends before lessons begin.
After School Care – until 5.30pm
After lessons finish, we offer extended care until 5.30pm:
Upper Prep pupils benefit from a calm environment in which they can complete Home Learning or read, supported by a member of staff.
Lower Prep children are offered a snack, followed by a variety of relaxing and fun activities such as film time, construction play, drawing and more – all under the care of our dedicated TAs or teaching staff.
