These inspections assess and evaluate the school’s effectiveness in delivering a high-quality Catholic education to our young people. The outstanding findings contained within this report are a clear testament to the dedication, commitment and expertise that define St. Columba’s College and its mission in Catholic education.

This report bears witness to the charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, which is fully ingrained in College life and reflects the strength of our identity as a Catholic school. Our young people not only articulate but also live out our values, clearly demonstrated in their willingness to serve – a real highlight that permeates every aspect of life here at St. Columba’s College.

This was a Regulatory Compliance inspection in which standards are either met or not met.

The inspection report indicates that all regulatory standards were fully met throughout the College. These standards relate to matters such as the safeguarding of children, welfare health and safety, the quality of educational provision and the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils.

The College was inspected by the Diocese of Westminster in October 2018. The Inspection team found that St Columba’s was judged to be ‘outstanding’ in both categories inspected, namely Classroom Religious Education and the Catholic life of the school.
