Geographers go to Iceland!

Senior School Trips

Form 5 and Sixth Form geographers have been in Iceland over half term, taking in some of the natural wonders of the world.

Activities included going to Hellisheidi geothermal power station, cooking eggs at the hot springs in Hveragerdi, and chasing waterfalls like Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss. They also climbed a glacier, swam in lagoons, saw some geysirs, canyons, and much more incredible scenery.

The trip wouldn't have been completed without the Geography Trip Quiz night either! Hopefully students will also have mastered some Icelandic words by the end of the week too ...
