ISI Report, January 2017

This was a Regulatory Compliance inspection in which standards are either met or not met.

The inspection report indicates that all regulatory standards were fully met throughout the College. These standards relate to matters such as the safeguarding of children, welfare health and safety, the quality of educational provision and the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils.

The Inspectors noted that at GCSE and A Level, in the years 2014 to 2016, that academic performance had been well above national averages.

The report notes that “the teaching enables pupils to make good progress, encompasses effective behaviour management and is supported by suitable resources.”

The inspectors also commented on the fact that “principles and values are actively promoted which facilitate the personal development of pupils as responsible, tolerant, law-abiding citizens.”
