Brother Roger Bosse, RIP

Columban Community

We are shocked and saddened to announce the sudden death of Brother Roger Bosse (Formerly Brother Lucian), may he rest in peace. Brother Roger was staying with the Brothers in Columbia, practising his Spanish for his translating job in Rome, when he suffered a seizure two weeks ago. This turned out be a cerebral haemorrhage, from which he was unable to recover. Our prayers are with him, his family and all the Brothers.

Brother Roger has been associated with St Columba's College for the last 50 years, having started working at the College in 1967. Brother Roger held many roles during his time at SCC, including Head of Prep and Head of Sixth Form and was an inspirational language teacher to many. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service in Brother’s memory will be organised and details communicated shortly.
