British Schools' Modern Biathlon Championships - great results

Senior School

The British Schools’ Modern Biathlon Championships took place on a sunny day at Crystal Palace last Sunday. This comprised a 1600m run and 200m swim and no fewer than 15 boys from St Columba's College took part in the event – many earning new PBs.

The top three scoring individuals from the same school in each class created a team and we entered teams at U17, U15 and U14 level.

SCC boys did extremely well winning the Under 17s National Team Championship. We came 3rd in the Under 15s and George Loveman achieved a magnificent 5th individually in the U17 category.

In the overall results it was also pleasing to see the swimming squad represented so well with the fastest swims of the day by Thomas Cadenhead and Ralph Muncer for the U15 and U16 age groups.

Well done to everyone taking part.
