From the M1 take the A414 towards St Albans and Hatfield. At the first roundabout take the first exit onto the A5183 St Albans (Watling Street). At the first mini-roundabout, facing the King Harry Pub, turn left and then immediately right at the second mini-roundabout. The entrance to the College is after 200 meters on the right.
From the North and East (A1M)
Follow the A1M through the Hatfield Tunnel and take the immediate exit. Follow the signs towards St Albans. At the second roundabout take the third exit (A414) and conttinue to the next roundabout. Take the fourth exit (A5183) and go up Watling Street to the first mini-roundabout facing the King Harry Pub. Go left at the mini-roundabout and immediately right at the next onto King Harry Lane. The entrance to the College is after 200 metres on the right.
From M25 Anti-clockwise
Leave the M25 at Junction 22 and follow the A1081, St Albans. At the first roundabout bear left onto A414 and continue to the next roundabout. Take the fourth exit (A5183) and and go up Watling Street to the first mini-roundabout facing the King Harry Pub. Go left at the mini-roundabout and immediately right at the next onto King Harry Lane.. The entrance to the College is after 200 metres on the right.
From M25 Clockwise
Leave M25 at Junction 21a and follow the A405 North Orbital Road. At the first roundabout take the first exit signposted Chiswell Green. At the roundabout by the Thistle Hotel take the first exit (B4360) Watford Road. Continue until a mini-roundabout by the King Harry Pub. Turn left onto King Harry Lane. The entrance to the College is after 200 metres on the right.
By rail
St Albans City mainline station (First Capital Connect) is a 10 minute taxi journey from St Columba’s and regular trains run from St Pancras International to St Albans (journey time - 20 minutes) and on to Bedford via Luton.
St Albans Abbey station is a 5 minute walk from the College and the Abbey Flyer shuttles between St Albans and Watford very regularly.
By air
Luton airport is the nearest airport to the College (15 minutes by road), Heathrow and Stansted (30 minutes by road) and Gatwick (60 minutes by road, direct by rail on First Captial Connect). All are within easy reach of St Albans via the UK motorway network.
