The SSPA has arranged for "Stitch to Fit" to collect items on specified dates from the Prep School Office for the stitching of new name labels, at a reduced rate of £1 per label. Many parents take up this offer and the SSPA also arranges a similar service in the summer months for new school uniform.
The SSPA receives profits from the sale of these towels on a quarterly basis. The SSPA designed the school towel about three years ago and they make excellent presents.
The Senior School runs the 300 Club every year. It is a fun way to raise money for the school - and you may also win some too! The Senior School Parents’ Association (SSPA) has introduced the 300 Club Lottery to help raise money for the school.
Family and friends may purchase as many numbers between one and three hundred as they wish, with each number costing £10 and being valid for one academic year.
Half of the funds raised by the SSPA go to school to buy additional items for the boys and the remaining 50% is used to fund prizes. If all three hundred numbers are purchased, then the first prize could be as much as £300.
There are three draws (one at the end of each term), with first, second and third prizes each time. Every number, therefore, has nine chances of being drawn and winning a prize during the course of the school year. The draw is normally made at the Headmaster’s End of Term Assembly.
If you would like to purchase numbers in the 300 Club Lottery for the current academic year, please complete the form below and return it, with your cheque, via your son’s Tutor. Please clearly mark the envelope ‘300 Club’. Details of your allocated numbers will be emailed to you before the first draw is made at the end of the Michaelmas Term.
If you miss the first draw, it is still fine to join in for the remaining two.
