Trips and Visits

The College organises a vast range of trips and visits.

There are four Extended Extra-Curricular Activities (EECA) Days every year, when the timetable is collapsed and whole year groups are taken to places and events to broaden their educational understanding.

History, Geography, Mathematics, English, Science, Design Technology, Physical Education, Classics and Religion all provide excellent avenues for educational visits, not just on the EECA Days, but also for longer trips during the school holidays and weekends.

The College is also proud of the structured programme of outdoor pursuits it offers in the Sixth Form. Students have the chance to participate in the Gold DofE Award Scheme and to travel to such countries as Canada and Zambia. There continues to be a significant number of sports tour and ski trips to complete the programme. These all have an international dimension.
