The College offers students in the Lower Sixth the opportunity to study for the ifs Certificate of Financial Studies (CeFS), an externally examined qualification in personal finance.

The CeFS is a comprehensive introduction to personal finance, which develops the core skills of critical analysis and evaluation, synthesis and written communication, while supplying students with the knowledge required for making informed financial decisions. This is achieved by introducing students to the risks and challenges involved in personal finance and the tools for effective planning.

Learners are encouraged to become responsible borrowers and sensible savers, and to appreciate the importance of financial planning throughout their lives. The qualification is worth up to seventy UCAS points.
